1993 Topps

The 1993 Topps set features 825 cards, released in two series of 396 (Series 1) and 429 yards (Series 2). Topps returned to the multiple series release in 1993 for the first time since the 1970s, and the set is the largest Topps Baseball set released.

Key rookie cards include Derek Jeter, Jim Edmonds and Jason Kendall.

Topps Black Gold

The Black Gold features 44 cards that were randomly inserted into both Series 1 (cards 1-22) and Series 2 (cards 23-44) packs. The first 22 cards are NL Players, and the second 22 cards are AL Players. In addition to collecting the sets through packs, Topps distributed redemption cards that entitled the receipient to redeem the card for groups of Black Gold Cards. When redeemed, the receipient received the group of cards and a Certified Winner card as well.
